Initiative Petition Status Reports as of January 16, 2026

In Florida, people have the right to propose amendments to the Florida constitution through the initiative petition process. Sponsors of these initiatives must obtain a required number of verified/valid signatures in order for the initiative to go on the General Election ballot.

AS OF OCTOBER 1, 2025  the cost of signature verification of an initiative petition is $3.13 per petition pursuant to Florida Statute 100.371(11)b.
